GREAT TASTING BRAZILIAN RUM
By viewing this site you confirm you are above the legal age for alcohol consumption in your country
ABOUT
Our Brazilian rum is handmade in the state of Minas Gerais and unlike most white rum, it has real flavour and depth of character. Simply mix with apple juice, and serve tall over ice, for a refreshing 'BemBom Pomme', or make a great tasting 'Brasil Libre' with cola and a good squeeze of fresh lime. Then dig out your favourite vinyl record, drop the needle, sit back and enjoy a sublime experience of taste and sound
Saúde!
VINYL REVIVAL
The humble vinyl record, that most old fashioned of formats, is making a comeback
We love the experience of playing a record on a turntable. Vinyl is wonderfully interactive, listening to one side then flipping over to hear the other. It is far more satisfying and social – no one wants to leaf through your Spotify playlist
Vinyl may be imperfect and people often say digital music is better becase it doesn’t have any surface noise. But like the great British DJ, John Peel, once said “Life has surface noise!"
We'll drink to that
BRAZIL LOVES MUSIC
Music is everywhere in Brazil, from old men tapping their fingers on the café table to the thundering Samba echoing around Rio in the run up to Carnaval
Music provides a soundtrack to life, a unique rhythm, a heartbeat that pumps energy and positivity into every citizen and visitor alike
Music is part of the Brazilian soul
SUGAR CANE RUM
In Brazil, everyone drinks sugarcane rum; or cachaça as the locals call it
It is Brazil’s national drink and it is consumed in vast quantities, often with sugar and fresh lime juice in a Caipirinha cocktail
But outside of Brazil, few have discovered the appealing flavour of good quality sugarcane rum
BemBom hopes to change this
BOA VIBE
Brazilians love the 'boa vibe', the good feeling they get when listening to great music. And somehow the beat gets better after a shot or two of rum (in moderation of course). But good sounds need good rum, and BemBom is handmade under the watchful eye of the Master Distiller, who selects the ripest cane for milling, prior to distillation in small batches in a traditional copper pot still. The fresh spirit is then aged for at least a year in white oak barrels
Light in colour, but rich in flavour, BemBom has delicate notes of vanilla, banana and subtle pepper spice. Perfeito!
